TI-nspire CX CAS

Looks like a really fancy calculator, but it’s much more. It’s also a really amazing wireless clicker! Teachers can send questions to the TI-nspire CX. While the program is running, we can see what people have chosen, a quick poll, before they “submit their final answer”. This allows you to change your answer as a student.

Boy this is really cool!

Once you submit the answer, or are locked out by the teacher, you are locked out.

Can also ask long answer questions and get the answers summarized on screen, which opens up an opportunity for discussion. Very very cool. Teacher knows who submitted each answer and can track. Very, very nice.

Can also do multiple responses in a question – if the teacher decides it’s possible.

This is a very full functioned device. I am curious about the pricing on it.

Jeff Lukens did a great presentation in TI’s booth, lots of fun questions to demonstrate how to use these devices. Awesome!

What a lot of fun! Thanks!
